Do you say Fall or Autumn?
I usually say Fall, but I like Autumn better because it sounds like a fancy, special world and the season of autumn is fancy and special to me.
I love the fall/autumn (too much?). We don’t get a proper autumn in California, and it’s probably the thing I miss the most about living in a place with four distinct seasons (not to diss you California! The smell of California is the happiest smell in the world, in my opinion, so you’ve got that going for you, among many other things like yellow hills and oak trees and good food).
I really want to read a bunch of spooky books this October, curled up on the couch with a snuggly blanket and a big mug of hot chocolate (I can dream, right?).
So, three questions for you:
–What’s your favorite season?
–Do you say Fall or Autumn?
–What are your favorite spooky (not too scary though, as I’m a wimp) October reads?
I await a deluge of replies.
